Barbapapa (cotton candy) is a solution of ethyl maltol at 10%, a softening agent additive for flavors, and is the equivalent of TPA Cotton Candy. It is not a sweetener in the true sense, although it has a sweet taste.
Barbapapa may round the notes of a flavor with around 0.5 to 1.5% in a mixture. Do not overdo it! It can easily ruin a mix if used to excess, and should be used sparingly.
Ingredients: Ethyl maltol 10%, propylene glycol (USP, Kosher).
